Our mission is to offer high quality cosmetic care products equal to, or better than those on the market, while using organic, eco-friendly and fair-trade ingredients.
Organic - still the same quality
Zorah products are made from organic ingredients certified by Ecocert or Québec Vrai. Zorah uses a large variety of products stemming from organic agriculture in its creams and uses no animal products or mineral oil (petroleum). Zorah’s products are not tested on animals and ensure quality of its raw materials and their origins. Zorah exemplifies that it is possible to make high-end products for the body without using any ingredients harmful to your health or the environment.
Eco-friendly
Zorah’s team is deeply concerned about the environment and the planet’s protection and feel the way we treat our bodies goes hand in hand with the way we treat the earth. Each step in the preparation of our products is one towards sustainable development. Our containers are entirely recyclable and offer a deposit program allowing our customers to return empty containers to stores for a monetary reimbursement. Our brochures are printed with vegetable-based inks on 100% recycled paper. Our products are locally manufactured so as to reduce unnecessary transport and we avoid over-packaging. Zorah is deeply involved in improving the environment in all steps of production and distribution.
By simply refusing to package its products in cardboard boxes and in using 100% recycled materials and FSP for its brochures, Zorah estimates that since its inception it has already saved more than 500 trees.
Effectiveness
Argan oil, known to Moroccan’s as the "precious oil", has been used for centuries for its numerous virtues. Extremely rich in antioxidants and in essential fatty acids, in vitamin E and in sterols, Argan oil is always effective. The Arganol complex, developed by our Canadian biochemists, deeply moisturizes and nourishes the skin while leaving a soft appearance and a most appealing texture.
Zorah has become a reference of quality among North American cosmetics. The reason is pure and simple – before being launched on the market, Zorah products are put through rigorous efficiency tests. When they do achieve a note of 95% in effectiveness and satisfaction, the products are returned to the lab and improved. Fair-Trade
The raw materials used in the production of our products for the most part come from women’s co-ops from all around the globe- in most part from Morocco, but also from Mali and Brazil just to name a few.
Fair-trade business means paying a fair price for a product or service and hence contributing to a more just and fair growth of the world’s economy. When buying Zorah, not only are you getting a product of the highest quality, but you are also participating in the implementation of a new international market, a more just one focusing more on the human factor than profit
Made in Canada
In this era of globalization, more and more products are coming from multinationals well established in countries where labour costs next to nothing and where potential profits are multiplied. Zorah biocosmétiques is proud to present a line of products designed, produced and distributed in Canada. Even the Maât pouch was created by a designer from Quebec and is made in Canada.
